We waited at Giant Puchong around 6.00am and when everyone arrived, we headed to our hiking destination, Broga Hill at Semenyih which is about 40Km from Puchong. We reached there around 7.10am and started our journey at the palm estate trail. After about 10-15 minute walk, we reached rubber tree estate and followed by an ascending forest trail.

There are few places that we stop here and there as we run out of breath. Hmm, I guess we are kinda exhausted. Along the way, there is a lot of tall grass (lalang) that can cut our skin. When reaching to the first peak, the step becomes steeper and it was kinda slippery as the trail is all soil. You need to be extra caution as there isn't anything to grab hold on if you happen to slip.

We finally reached the first peak around 8.00am and we are fully exhausted and tired by that time. Luckily, there are friends who bring a big bottle of 100 Plus as a reward for making it through the first peak. I would have bought it for RM10 per bottle if anyone willing to sell on that time. Haha. The feeling of drinking 100 Plus was priceless. There is Sinis homemade bread to fill our stomach but me and Daph only share a slice of his homemade bread. We dun feel like eating when tired. Paiseh. We rest there for half an hour before me and Daph decided to conquer the second peak.

It was quite a short path but a little steep towards the second peak. Yes, it looks far from the first peak and when your mind is playing trick on you, you see it as kinda far. Furthermore, we are physically tired and out of breath. But a 30min rest at first peak with cold air cleared our tiredness. This second peak is a little hot and it just looks the same as the first one. There is another one which is the third or last peak of Broga Hill. We really wish to go further on but alas we didn't make it as I really felt tired. Need to keep some energy to descend down.

Descending down is a bit dangerous as it's quite steep and slippery. I slipped once during descending and luckily I managed to control before bowling other peoples. We took about half an hour to descent and of course we shot some posing photo to brag out later. Lol! We are supposed to eat a famous Ikan Bakar near this place but the shop hasn’t open for business yet. We should put our pace slower during descending that time. Damn! Ended up eating a nice Laksa Mee, Wan Tan Mee, Chicken Wing, Milo Ice and Ice Lemon Tea. Every food is goddamn nice. I wonder if we are hungry or that food really tastes good.

Overall, Broga Hill is a nice place to hike as it's not very tough. I would say its average for my standard. Sungai Penchala is much tougher than this and FRIM is a little easier than Broga Hill. One thing for sure is we are all very satisfied with this hiking. |

Totally agreed with AK, Broga is a medium hardcore but a nice place for hiker. :D
But I have 1 or 2 tips for those people that are viewing at this blog.
1st of all - Rest and sleep. Please sleep enough and rest more before every hiking trip. You will be needing all those for the ups and downs.
2nd - if someone pass you a box of sandwiches with tuna, sardine and egg flavour, please eat it as you might be missing out on a delicous meal. :P
