Unexpected Birthday Surprises.

Last year was a birthday celebration at Jogoya with a bunch of friends. I do blogged it out on my last year celebration here in Bloggers. This year celebration was kinda unexpectedly different. Different is sense of the people who are involved celebrating together with me. It was my first time in 6 years I am working on my birthday. Normally I will take a day off on my big day. This year, I wanted to do thing differently. So I went to work instead. I was greeted by many colleagues today and the surprise came in when my clerical staff gave me birthday present. Even the cleaner gave me birthday present too and this is a damn surprise. What is that you ask? A nice dolphin crafted photo frame and a pen holder. I dun fancy the present but the thoughtfulness that count! The second surprise that caught me was when I went into the production floor to do some of my work, I comeback and notice the office light was switched off. I look at the clock and it was only 1pm. 1.30pm is our lunch time. Why do they switch off the lamp? I walk in and said, "Apsal tutup lampu ni?", and I was stunned to see candle light on birthday cake in the office table. And thus they sing the ol skool birthday song. This makes me feel I am appreciated. The surprise never ends when I received a packaging from my dear. A birthday present posted from her workplace to my office. Isn’t that wonderful? At night, I just wanted to have a simple meal and Sinis came to find me and had dinner with me at Summit. Chicky boy came a little late after the dinner. Well, he came all the way here just to lepak a while with me even though he already had a dinner with his collogue. It's the thought that count. Then he went back and I watch movie with Sinis. The same movie I watched at Genting. I love that movie! "Why so serious? Let’s put a smile on that face." - Joker - Just went I thought everything is over, I receive a phone call from my housemate. I rejected her call as I was in the cinema and sms her telling I am in the cinema. She replied me: "Wah, u watch wat time 1 oh. Juz wan said happy birthday 2 u. Lee, foo n goh ask me to wish u happy birthday 2. Dinning table got cake, u light urself, sing urself, make a wish urself, blow candle urself n eat urself. Haha. We wanna sleep liau.zzz" Wow, couldn't believe it. They bought me a cake! Waiting to surprised me but unfortunately I am outside. So paiseh man. Btw, Lee, Foo and Goh are in Bali. Thanks for their wishes too. Again, the thought that counts! Well, to my housemate, Goh and Sam, I am really thankful. They already slept when I came back. I am not gonna eat the cake myself. I am gonna wait for them tomorrow night and have dinner with them together for sure. Maybe a pizza delivery will be do. Wow, this year birthday really blow me off with so many unexpected surprises from unexpected people. Thanks to all my friends, colleagues, family wishes and last but not least, my dear too. Thanks you. I shall treasure this happy moment always.
